Principal Engineer, Systems Design

T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Principal Engineer, Systems Design in Herndon, VA. Research, design, plan, develop and/or evaluate new, advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design for projects of highest complexity and multiple technologies. Ensure appropriate testing on new devices and network advancements, including 5G Networks, Device/Chipset compatibilities with RAN Features and configurations. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated. Job Qualifications: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
