Elementary School Teacher: Lee Montessori PCS in Washington, DC. Lead a classroom at the lower elementary level (ages 6 to 9), teach student using Montessori Method; prepare classroom curriculum and materials; monitor children's performance; communicate with parents/guardians; prepare and maintain student records. Req'd: Bachelor degree in Education, Management, Science, Literature, or a related field, three year experience as an elementary school teacher/Montessori elementary guide, AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) or AMS (American Montessori Society) diploma or accreditation, or international equivalent, for Lower Elementary or Elementary I (ages 6 to 9).
