We are looking for candidates with 2-10 years of production and/or project management experience in technical civil design, drafting, processing, review and quality control, including oversight of junior-level engineers, designers and draftspersons, preferably with experience in the Montgomery, Frederick or Prince George's County markets. Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure, or the ability to quickly establish licensure, is preferred.
Candidates will work predominantly on private sector land development projects, with direct interaction with clients, regulatory agencies and decision-makers. This position requires the ability to discern and apply applicable regulatory land development codes, standards, regulations, review processes, procedures and schedules to secure construction plan entitlements. Production and management responsibilities may include design and construction plans for subdivision geometry, grade establishment, roadway plans, stormwater management, storm drain, water and sewer, floodplain studies and technical reports. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. If you would like to grow in a particular area we will encourage and support you as well.
