Back-End Software Engineer for Total Wine & More to work at our Bethesda, MD loc. Develop software applications based on functional requirements + technical specifications following applications through to implementation. Work in Agile environment collaborating w/ Product Owners, QA Engineers + other developers to share coding best practices, working to ensure standardized techniques across the development team. Work w/ Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL Server + Azure/Google cloud. Work w/ variety of teams across Technology department to evaluate, estimate, develop + create high impact products on schedule. Perform solution analysis, translating requirements into design specifications. Implement applications + services using Azure, .NET/C#, Microsoft SQL Server + publisher/subscriber messaging systems. Consult w/ end-user to prototype, refine, test + debug solutions. May undergo background checks incl drug screening. Salary $126,090 – 137,600 /yr plus comprehensive benefits. Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci or rel field and 3 yrs rel experience in Microsoft .NET framework, .NET Core, and C#. Also requires the following skills (1 yr exp) in: interacting with relational or NoSQL database technology; JavaScript Web UI Development; and RESTful APIs and microservices in a cloud native environment.
