Associate Attorney

Sierra Club seeks Associate Attorney for Washington D.C to serve as a litigator for Environmental Law Program. JD / LLM in Law / related field req'd. License to practice law in any U.S. state or jurisdiction req’d. 3yrs exp as legal fellow or practicing attorney in environmental/energy law req’d (may be gained prior to or after obtaining req’d education & U.S. law license). Must have exp in: performing legal research & drafting memos on enforcement of environmental laws & regs; drafting appellate briefs; drafting amicus briefs; & building relationships w/diverse communities of legal practitioners.
