SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Software Engineer (Xpand Corporation, Herndon, VA) Resp for all aspects of s/ware dvlpmt life cycle, incl dsgn, dvlpmt, testing, implmtn, maintenance, systm admin, techn’l assessments, recommendations for inclusion of new technologies into systm applic & architecture. Dsgn, build & maintain user interface (UI), bus. & data layer for web applics. Dsgn & dvlp enterprise content functionality mgmt. Plan, track & manage s/ware dvlpmt activities. Min. Reqmts: Masters or foreign equiv deg in Comp Sci, Electrical/Electronic Engg, Comp Engg, Info Systms or closely rltd field, + 3 yrs of exp in the position offd or rltd occupation working as a S/ware Engineer. Must have 3 yrs of exp in: dsgng web applics using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, or .Net Core; planning, tracking & managing s/ware dvlpmt activities in VSS, TFS, or Azure DevOps; creating Web API’s using .Net technologies; dvlp front end applics using React or Angular. In lieu of Masters + 3 yrs of exp, the employer will accept a Bachelors or foreign equiv deg in Comp Sci, Electrical/Electrical Engg, Comp Engg, Info Systms or closely rltd field, + 5 yrs of exp in the position offd or rltd occupation working as a S/ware Engineer. *Applicants w/ any suitable combo of education, training, or exp are acceptable.
