Chief Information Officer

The Fauquier County Government Department of Information Technology is seeking a talented and motivated Chief Information Officer to join our team. This position will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Fauquier County’s IT services.

The selected candidate will handle employee concerns, organize, prioritize, and assign tasks. Educate other departments and provide analytical data. Engage in the Technology Review Board and other committees. Ensures major projects stay on track and aligned with goals. Develops and administers the department budget and creates and implements long – and short-term plans to address technological needs.
