TECHNOLOGY Business Systems Analyst, IBM Corporation, Reston, VA (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Address issues related to software installations, as well as moderate to high complexity software trouble shooting issues escalated from Tier 1, 2, and 3 technical support. Maintain a current inventory of all software and troubleshoot, resolve or escalate issues reported through the help-desk ticket systems. Manage the operations team’s duties of going on call, reporting outages, weekly patching and send the daily operations report. Manage Annual User Recertification, update the Business Unit Coordinator (BUC) list monthly and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) monthly access review. Respond to open and close tickets in an incident tracking system (ServiceNow); troubleshoot and escalate issues. Mentor, support, and train new users in domain knowledge and apply best practice for large and complex issues and other issues. Work with the testing team, to test the application whenever upgrades have done. Serve in an admin role implementing IT security policy and processes. Provide support for the disaster recovery exercise. Review and update the ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Solution) training guides used by all ECMS new customers and the team user manuals. Utilize: ServiceNow, SQL (Structure Query Language), OpenText Documentum, Apache Tomcat, RHEL, JIRA, Advance Excel, JBoss, Linux. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Customer Technical Support Specialist or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing ServiceNow, SQL (Structure Query Language), OpenText Documentum, Apache Tomcat, RHEL, JIRA, Advance Excel, JBoss, Linux. $95624 to $100000 per year.
