Develop and improve manufacturing process technologies through experimental design, data analysis, and plant-scale trials; lead scale-up and manufacturing support for new products and transferred products, in collaboration with R&D and Alignment Chemists. Requires Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related field and two years of experience in job offered or as Alignment Engineer and/or Process Technology Engineer and/or Senior Process Technology Engineer. Background in education, training or experience must include working in a lab environment and in the chemical or coatings industry; strong knowledge of chemical and process engineering principles, including unit operations, scale-up methodologies, and process troubleshooting; proficiency in designing and conducting plant-scale experiments and analyzing process data; working knowledge of batch and continuous manufacturing systems; familiarity with process hazard analysis techniques and safety standards (e.g., PSM, MOC, PFMEA); demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, EHS) to commercialize and improve products; effective technical communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency with data analysis tools and process control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC, statistical software).
