(Individual Contributor) for Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) may work remotely and report to our Herndon, VA HQ loc. Design & architect next-gen tech solutions to address business problems. Propose & present solutions to stakeholders incl execs & senior leaders from product, business, strategy, & tech. Limited national & international travel may be involved to other ATPCO offices (incl but not limited to offices in Bulgaria, Singapore, UK, Canada) for client visits, conferences, leadership summits. Travel up to 1-2 days/wk (25% - 49% of time); max length of single trip not exceeding 5 days. Wage: $207,900 - $221,450. Must have Bach in Comp Sci, IT, Electrical Engineering or other related field & 10 yrs relevant exp in development roles with complex IT applications. Also requires skills: (10 yrs exp) in: influencing & implementing Best-in-Class design & engineering excellence practices; Service Oriented Architecture, Continuous Integration, & Delivery Environment; delivering custom software within a Product focused environment; successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader, or engineering manager; (7 yrs exp) in: designing and building enterprise platform solutions; programming language (Java, Python, or Rust); (5 yrs exp) in: Agile software development; (4 yrs exp) in: NoSQL databases (MongoDB or GraphDB); Big data frameworks; Container Orchestration services incl Docker & Kubernetes; AWS tools & services; Airline industry pricing data SME; & (3 yrs exp) in: Airline industry content distribution SME.
