Oversee global area-based conservation initiatives with a focus on Latin America for WWF country offices & partners, incl. indigenous peoples & local communities. 30% travel to Latin American to oversee Area-Based Conservation (ABC) & Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs) projects. Develop fundraising proposals & manage grants & budgets. Master’s in Natural Resource Mgmt, Environmental Mgmt, or related field. 4 yrs exp leading teams on policy & advocacy initiatives to develop & finance environmental policies & conservation projects at national & intl. levels for large intl. conservation org. Exp. w. community-based conservation work in Latin America. Exp. developing & managing financial mechanisms for protected areas & OECMs projects in Latin America req. Must be fluent in Spanish (spoken & written) to communicate w. Spanish-speaking stakeholders & indigenous communities, & to read & interpret technical documents.
