Standard Wait List Opening On October 2, 2026, Atlantic Gardens, Southern Hills & Atlantic Terrace are opening the Wait Lists for Studios and 2 BDR Standard Apartments and for Studios and 2 BDR Standard Accessible Apartments that are designed for people with mobility impairments & people with hearing or visual impairments. Pre-Applications are available on our website at www.liveatlanticdc.com and can be completed entirely online; OR completed in person at 4319 3rd Street SE, Washington, DC 20032 between the hours of 12p-4pm. Once the waiting lists reach 100 applications for Studios; 200 applications for 2 BDR, the waiting list will be closed using the same advertising methods as used for opening the list. The properties have rental assistance through the Project Based Section 8 program and are subject to maximum income limits. Applicants are selected from wait list based off time & date of their application & applicable preferences. Preferences are given for applicants who are working full time (32 hours/week for same company for last 6 months, are 62 or older, or are disabled; & applicants seeking relocation to avoid, remedy, or address harassment based on protected status, or the emergency transfer of a resident due to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking in accordance with Violence Against Women Act.
